On average, a voice call consumes around 90 kilobytes/sec and a video call consumes 240 - 890 kilobytes/sec depending on the pre-configured settings for video, bandwidth available, network conditions in between, callers CPU performance, and etc.
Generally, 2b takes up 90 kbps bandwidth averagely while you are in a call. Otherwise, 2b will not take up any bandwidth; therefore, 2b do not affect your other types of Internet traffic much in normal.
In most firewalls, you have to specify a TCP/UDP destination port or port range to open. For 2b to work, it is recommended to open up outgoing TCP connections to port 80, 8080 and outgoing UDP connections to port range 1024 - 65535.
You should reset the configuration in the Norton Internet Security by pressing Personal Firewall > Internet Access Control > Configure, then choose “Application Scan”. After the scanning is done, please choose “permit” for 2b Application and categorized as “unspecified”. However, if the problem persists, please report this to our customer service.
