Why can't I login 2b? (No figure in the 2b main interface, Figure 1)

| Scenario 1: First time to login 2b
If it is your first time to login 2b, you have to select "Tool" and then "Preference" in the 2b main interface (Figure 2), and check if "hk" is added behind the 2b phone number (e.g. 34983498hk). If not, then add "hk" behind the 2b phone number and press "OK"(Figure 3). You should then be able to login 2b again afterwards (Figure 4).
Scenario 2: Successfully login 2b before
It may be due to the fact that you have not successfully logout 2b before, so the system still maintains your previous login record. Therefore, you need to clear such login record before you can login 2b again.
In order to clear previous login record, you have to visit and login at http://pa.2b.com.hk, then select "2b reset". After that, there will be a popup window showing "Telephony Service will be restricted after resetting 2b phone. Please login again to resume the service. Reset 2b phone?" (Figure 5), select "OK(確定)". After complete logout, it will show the message "Your bbTalk have successfully logout, you can login again" (Figure 6), then you can start 2b and login again.

| When I was using 2b, the computer suddenly shut down or disconnected from Internet service. Why can't I login 2b again afterward? (No special popup message) |
It is because you have not logout 2b when the computer suddenly shut down or disconnected, so the system still maintains your previous login record. Therefore, you need to clear such login record before you can login 2b again.
In order to clear previous login record, you have to visit and login at http://pa.2b.com.hk, then select "2b reset". After that, there will be a popup window showing "Telephony Service will be restricted after resetting 2b phone. Please login again to resume the service. Reset 2b phone?" (Figure 7), select "OK(確定)". After complete logout, it will show the message "Your bbTalk have successfully logout, you can login again" (Figure 8), then you can start 2b and login again.

If I have selected "Remember my password" in the login interface, why can't I login again after I have changed my password, with the popup window indicating "Please fill in your password" (Figure 9) ?

| You can open "My computer" in the desktop, then select "C:"(or the hard disk you used to install 2b) followed by "Documents and Settings", then select the folder with your user name to delete the folder "HKBN 2b" inside,. After that, you will be able to login 2b again by entering your phone number and new password.

Why can't I open 2b software, with the popup window indicating "不允許同時執行多PC使用者介面程式" (Figure 10)?

| It may be due to fact that the 2b software is already executing. You can check in the System Tray if there is a green (figure 11) or red (figure 12) 2b icon. If yes, you just need to left click the 2b icon to open 2b software again.
If you cannot find the 2b icon in the System Tray, you need to open and check the "Task Manager(工作管理員)" to ensure all the 2b application programs have been terminated.

Press "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" buttons on the keyboard at the same time to open the "Task Manager";

In the "Task Manager(工作管理員)" window, select "Processes(處理程序)", check if any 2b program, including "PCCLauncher.exe" and "SMC.exe", are executing.

If any of those programs is still executing, then select the name of those programs ("PCCLauncher.exe" or "SMC.exe") and click "End Process(結束處理程序)" (Figure 13).

| After I have successfully connected the USB phone to my PC/notebook, why is there no response at all for pressing the buttons on the USB phone? |
You have to install the USB phone driver and also need to run the USB phone software before using the USB phone.
You can select the "USB Phone Installation Driver" in the installation CD and follow the instructions to complete the installation procedure.
A USB phone icon will be shown on the desktop interface after installation. Double click the icon for operating the USB phone.

| How can I download the 2b software? |
You can refer to the links for download from the 2b confirmation email. Besides, you can visit our 2b website: http://www.2b.com.hk and select "Download" in the main page, or just click here, to proceed to the "2b Account Management Login" page. After entering your 2b phone number and password to login, you have to select "Download" in the "Account Management" interface to download the 2b software.

| Why is there a system message telling me that "Your pin code has expired, please enter a new pin code" when I use my Voicemail? |
It is because customers have to enter a new password for their Voicemail accounts at the first time they login. You can simply enter the password provided by 2b Voicemail activation email, or set up a new password by your own. To set up a new password, you can visit and login http://pa.2b.com.hk, choice Voice Mail Login Setup to set up your new password. After that, you can call 36111000 to use the Voicemail by keying in your new password.

Why is there a popup window showing "The PC Client did not exit properly from a previous run, and exiting properly is important for your network services....." when I open 2b (Figure 14)?

It is because you did not use the proper way to logout and close 2b program last time, therefore, the system would remind you to end 2b properly next time. At that moment, you can just click "OK" in the popup window to enter the 2b main interface.
In future, please follow the proper way to close 2b to avoid such problem, in which you have to select "Login" in the 2b main interface, then select "Logout" followed by "Exit" to logout and close 2b properly.
